Donald Trump

Donald J. Trump is the 45th President of the United States of America having won his election in 2016.  Today he is running for his second term as President.  President Trump has been extremely successful in his first term as President by keeping promises made to the American people.  Today America is stronger and safer thanks to President Trump's vision and hard work.
 
Donald Trump was born in 1946 in Queens, New York to Fred Trump and Mary Anne MacLeod and was educated at Kew-Forest School and the New York Military Academy.  His alma maters are Fordham University and University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School   
 
Trump is a native of New York City and a son of Fred Trump, who inspired him to enter real estate development.  After 2 years at Fordham University and while studying at Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, Trump worked for his father's firm, Elizabeth Trump & Son.  Upon graduating in 1968 he joined the company, and in 1971 was given control, renaming the company "The Trump Organization".  Since then he has build hotels, golf courses, and other properties, many of which bear his name.  He is a major figure in American business and has received prominent media exposure.
 
 Trump ran for President once before:  In 2000, he conducted an exploratory campaign and won two Reform Party primaries.  In June 2015, Trump announced his candidacy for President in the 2016 election, and his campaign for the Republican nomination has drawn extensive media coverage.  
 
Donald Trump is married to Melania Knauss and has 5 children.
