Drew Crompton
Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania

Born and raised in Montgomery County, Judge J. Andrew "Drew" Crompton graduated from Phil-Mont Christian Academy High School, Dickinson College and Widener School of Law in Harrisburg.  In his role as General Counsel to the Senate Republicans, Judge Crompton served as a vital link among all branches of government, providing leadership and counsel in the passage of vital legislation affecting Pennsylvanians in every walk of life.
He was the point lawyer for dozens of high-profile cases including redistricting, negotiating a settlement with the NCAA, budget disputes and separation of power cases (often to rein in the power of the Governor or other executives).  Judge Crompton also participated in the seminal U.S. Supreme Court case, DC vs Heller, to protect the 2nd Amendment.  Prior to leaving the Senate, Judge Crompton intervened on behalf of many Republican Senators to oppose the use of taxpayer dollars for abortion.
Judge Crompton's current appointed term to the Commonwealth Court runs from January 2020 to January 2022.  He has been hailed as straightforward, thoughtful and objective and his decisions have served as important examples.
Judge Crompton and his wife, Megan, have been married for 17 years.  They live in Cumberland County with their two daughters, Mallory 13, and Morgan 8.
