Below are a list of available positions where volunteers are needed.

Committee People
Our elected committee people are the backbone of the Mercer County Republican Party. Committee people are elected every even numbered year at the primary election and represent his or her voting precinct. Each precinct elects a man and a woman. Responsibilities include electing the Republican chairman, recruiting candidates, working the polls, and other grassroots' efforts. Contact the party chairman for more information.

Fairs and Parades
Check out the fairs and parades listed on the GOP Events Calendar. We are always looking for people to join us in the parades and volunteer for a few hours at the Republican booth at the fairs.  Please contact Ginny Richardson to schedule a time to help out at the fairs.  Call Ginny at 724-748-4007 for more information about parades.

Watch the GOP Events Calendar for a listing of door-to-door dates before the primary and general elections. Not able to walk long distances? We'll need volunteers to organize the campaign literature before we deliver it door-to-door.  Call Ginny at 724-748-4007 for more information.

Poll Workers/Watchers
Both the Republican Party and individual candidates rely on volunteers to work at the polls on Election Day. Responsibilities include handing out candidate literature and watching the votes being processed after the polls close.
Volunteers are needed to work outside the polls handing out slate cards for our candidates.  If you wish to volunteer at your polling location please call Republican Headquarters at 724-662-4060.

Republican Headquarters
Do you like interacting with the public? Are you organized and friendly?   We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to keep headquarters open daily; work the polls on election day and go door to door.  If you wish to volunteer, please call Republican headquarters at 724-662-4060.
